[News] Help Needed for Upcoming Jazz Events

Jazz Band season is in full swing.  We need some help to load equipment
into the cube truck and drive it to our performance locations.

 

This isn't as big of a production as Marching Band, but two or three
sets of hands for each event makes the job much easier!

 

I'm behind on this, so please note the first competitions are this week!
I've got Thursday covered, but need somebody for Saturday.

 

 

 

Jan 24 (this Thursday) - noon - 4:00 pm - Jazz 3 to Simpson College

            Loading at 11:30 a.m.  Leaving at noon.  

Equipment returning about 4:30.

 

Jan 26 (this Saturday) - 10:30 am to 5:00 pm - Jazz 1&2 to State at
North Polk (Alleman)

            Load at 10:30.  Leaving at 11:00

            Equipment returning around 5:00 pm.

 

Feb 1 & 2 - Jazz 1,2 & 3 to Earlham

            Loading equipment Friday evening right after school (3:00.)
Driving to Earlham, unloading and coming back.

            Equipment returning around 1:00 pm Saturday.

        

 

Additional upcoming dates.  Schedules to be set later.

Feb 23 - Jazz 1, 2, & 3 - Woodward Granger 

Mar 1 - Jazz 1, 2, & 3 - Hoover 

Mar 8 - Jazz 1, 2, & 3 - Charles City 

Apr 12 - 9th-12th grade - Solo Ensemble Festival

Apr 15 - HS - Jazz Championships

Apr 19 - 8th grade Band Contest

Apr 26 - 7th-8th grade - Adventureland 

 

 

Looking further ahead

May 3 - HS - Large Group Contest / Valley

May 24 - HS - Graduation / Knapp Center - 1:00

May 26 - HS - Memorial Day / Waukee Cemetery - 9:00 am

July 4 - HS - 4th Parade/ Waukee - 2:00 - Warrior World also.
