We're still looking for additional loading/driving help for all four
weekend events. (April 12, 19, and 26 and May 3.)

We have several events coming up that we need help with loading gear and
driving the cube truck to/from the events.  Please let me know which you
can help with.

 

April 12 - Solo / Ensemble Contests - Johnston.

            Load at 6:45am for 7:00am departure.

 

April 15 - Iowa Jazz Championships - Civic Center

            Load at 5:45 am for 6:30am departure.

            Reload equipment after 8:30am performance.

            Truck won't return until after late afternoon awards and may
need to stay for finals.  (Hopefully!)

 

April 19- 8th Grade Concert Band Contest - Dallas Center/Grimes HS

            Load at 1:30pm for 1:45 departure

            Performance at 3:00

            Return by 4:00pm

 

April 26 - 8th grade Concert Band Contest - Adventureland

            Load at 9:15am for 9:30am departure

            Performance at 11:40

            Return at 6:15pm

 

            May 3 - High School Large Group Contest - Valley HS

                        Times TBA

 

 

Other notes:  

*	Don't forget to sign up and help with our hosting of the Drake
Relays -Festival of Bands on April 26th.
*	Mark your calendars also on April 19th for Drummin' with the
Monkey - Random Acts of Drumness at 5:00 and 7:30 pm in the High School
Auditorium.  Always a fabulous show!
*	2008 Warrior Regiment (Marching Band) schedule is available on
the website - www.waukeebands.org <http://www.waukeebands.org/> .  State
Marching Band Contest and the Waukee Marching Invitational are October
18th.  (Mark your calendars now.)
