Hello Everyone and Congratulations!

State Marching and the Waukee Invitational was a huge success in  
spite of the less than perfect weather. Preliminary results look like  
we have a 17% increase in revenues over last years event. We will  
keep you up-to-date when all the expenses are in.

This event would not be possible without the amazing and talented  
people we have involved in Waukee bands....many who helped don't  
currently even have students in the band!! Thank you for all of your  
efforts in making this a huge success!  While there are so many  
people who deserve to be mentioned by name, I would like to thank the  
Invitational committee for all of their time leading into this event,  
for starting work so early on Saturday and for continuing until the  
event was cleaned up late Saturday night.
