[News] Jazz in July in Waukee

	JAZZ IN JULY CONCERT

Just a reminder to plan to attend our Metro Arts Jazz in July free  
concert this coming Thursday evening, July 12, from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at  
the Waukee Downtown Triangle.
6:00 PM - Brownian Motion - Don Brown's jazz trio
7:30 PM - Wayne Page Quartet - Mr. Page has informed us that his  
drummer for this concert is none other than Waukee's own Todd Woodard!

There will be art activities and face painting for the kids. Stivers  
Ford is bringing a new car for us to check out. The Downtown Triangle  
businesses will be open that evening, also.

Burgers, brats and hot dogs will be served by the Friends and  
Foundation of the Waukee Public Library - this food stand will  
benefit both the library and the Waukee Area Arts Council, so we hope  
you will bring your appetites as well as your lawn chairs!

The weather forecast looks good and it should be a great musical  
evening! (We do have a rain location set up at the Waukee High School  
Commons if that becomes necessary.) All we need to make this  
community event a success is YOU!
