"Begging for Three" could be the title of a new song by some pop group...

It really is just me trying to find the final 3 people to help us host SCIBA on Saturday and Waukee High School.
We are hosting 52 high school jazz bands from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and I'd love to get 3 more people to fill the remaining slots.

Did you always enjoy watching Ed McMahon and wish you could do introductions just like he did? HERE is your opportunity for stardom!!!!! Come and be the Center Manager in the gym to introduce bands from Noon - 5 on Saturday. You don't even need to tell jokes, just introduce the bands and start the timer on the computer. There is a short break for lunch at noon, be ready for Jefferson-Scranton at 12:48.

Maybe telling people where to go is more up your alley?! Be the Warm-up supervisor by the gym from Noon-1 or the warm-up supervisor by the school media center (aka the Library) from Noon to 5:00. You just open the door and let them into the room and then hold the door as they move to the performance room. Bands will be warming up at noon.

Believe it or not, I have filled 78 slots so far and just need the final 3.

This will be a great day to sit inside, hear some wonderful jazz musicians, and get a white chocolate carmel mocha at the concession stand. You won't want to miss it!

Thanks for your support of Waukee Bands!
