Thank you to all who participated in getting the Warrior Regiment ready for
one or all of the events this last weekend. The Regiment performed well at
the Johnston show/critique on Saturday and will be working hard the rest of
this week to improve the show for the 2 Cedar Rapids contests this coming
Saturday, September 23rd.
We will also have some additional Roadie tasks this week during the
performance that we will need to cover, so please attend and help out if you
can and as always all the help we get is truly appreciated.
We will also need at least 2 parents to ride on each the busses (and we
travel with 5 busses), so if you are planning on going please plan on riding
on one of the busses.
The itinerary for the Cedar Rapids Lin-mar and Cedar Rapids Prairie Contests

Adults that are traveling with the band to the Cedar Rapids contest - you

from Clair Conner for additional details on being included in the lunch
count.
Reminder for Roadies:
Roadies that move the percussion "Pit" equipment, on and off of the field
for performances dress attire is as follows:
- an all black shirt, or t-shirt or sweatshirt. Many wear the Waukee
black polo or crewneck sweatshirt, purchased from Warrior World,
but it is not required.
- blue jeans
- Depending on the weather conditions the dress attire will change.
When it gets cold we do wear coats to stay warm. The forecast is for
a little warmer
weather this weekend, which will be good.
To all that travel with the Regiment we need a Medical form filled out for
you, just like we ask to have one filled out for your student. I am
attaching a medical form to this email that you can print and complete and
bring with you Saturday.
Let me know if you have any questions regarding any of the above.
Thanks,
Doug Meyer
