[News] October 27 Tailgate party for grade 9-12 band members, volunteers and roadies 4:30 to 6 PM

Thank You to Volunteers and Supporters of the 2006 State Marching Band Festival and Waukee Marching InvitationalPlease see the attachment above to invite you to the annual end of the season tailgate party on 10-27-06 from 4:30 to 6:00 PM.

We will have BBQ pork sandwiches and beans (thanks to the Brent and Lynne Rockers), chips, cookies/bars, some vegetarian choices, and water or lemonade. 

We could use about 3 dozen bars/brownies and also 6 or 8 volunteers to provide clean-up while the roadies are off to run the pit crew/load the trucks.  Please let me know if you are able to donate some brownies/bars or help with the clean up.

  Now that this event is over and the donated/rented equipment has been returned I would like to extend my Thank You to all of the volunteers and/or supporters of the Waukee Band program.  With your help and cooperation we were able to successfully host this large event at Waukee.  

  If you volunteered I hope you were able to hear some of the compliments from the band directors and/or spectators on the fine job that Waukee did in hosting this event.  We would not receive these compliments without the volunteer effort and community support that we received.

  Again Thank You very much for your volunteer effort and/or support of the Waukee Band program.
