VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for July 25th

As you have all probably heard RAGBRAI is coming to Waukee on Tuesday, July
25th, and the latest in the news regarding this event is that Lance
Armstrong will also be joining in on the bike ride across Iowa for a couple
of days this year.

The Band, Vocal and Athletic Booster organizations are working together on a
fundraising project for the RAGBRAI event by offering food and showers.  The
venues will be as follows:

	·	High School  (8:45 AM - 8:00 PM)  pasta dinner and showers
	·	Middle School  (8:45 AM - 8:00 PM)  grilled sandwiches and
showers
	·	Stadium Concession Stand (10:00 AM - 11:00 PM)  hot dogs,
brats, fruit, snacks, and beverages
	·	Prairieview School  (8:45 AM - 8:00 PM)  showers


We are hoping the air conditioned High School and Middle School sites for
food will be a big draw for the riders along with the shower facilities at
the 3 school sites.


We are looking at needing over 170 volunteers across the 3 booster
organizations to make this event a success.  The volunteer needs are being
divided across the across the three booster organizations as will the
proceeds from the fundraising.  The Band Booster Organization is responsible
to supply around 45 of these volunteers.

I have included a schedule of times and jobs that the Band Boosters are
responsible to fill.  None of the jobs are difficult and many of the jobs
can be filled by students, but all the jobs need to be filled to make this
event a success.

Please review the schedule and see when you would be available to fill a
time slot on the schedule.  

Please reply and let me know what time slot you would be available to fill,
also indicate what jobs you are interested in and if you are signing up a
student please indicate that they are a student.  We need to fill all jobs,
so there may be some moving around to different jobs to fill all the jobs.
